On October 15th at 5pm (location TBA), the Metro State Faculty Federation, Colorado Jobs with Justice, and COSPA (Colorado Student Power Alliance) will host a forum at Metro State University in Denver on "The Corporatizing of Higher Education". Panel speakers will address the national trends of increasing student loan debt, the growth of Administration budgets and decision-making power in higher ed., the growing "deprofessionalizing" of faculty, and how such trends undermine a vision for the common good.
