Denver Delegates Attend AFT Colorado Convention

DFT Delegates, Susan Cesario and Eugene Summers attended the AFT Colorado Convention of April 28, 2007.  The convention centered on organizing opportunities in Colorado and political action for the State Federation.  Phil Kugler, Special Assistant to the AFT President was the keynote speaker.  Joan Fitz-Gerald, President of the Colorado Senate and Andrew Romanoff spoke to the group at lunch.  The political climate is changing in Colorado and the speakers emphasized the positive changes that are being made for Colorado teachers and the students they serve.
